Our banqueting hall Avalon opened in the summer of 2003.
We sit down with couples, take our time to find the right menu make all the best arrangements for their big day. With prices and taste being amongst our main considerations, we create a menu and a day to suit the couple’s wishes.

Avalon harks back to the banqueting halls of medieval romance with its high pitched ceiling supported by an exposed frame of unseasoned green French oak timbers neatly surrounded by a modern construction. The long bar with stairs and minstrel gallery faces the far end of the room where French doors give out onto a patio above the beautiful gardens and pond. The polished oak floor at the centre is bordered by Welsh slate and the mix of modern and hint of medieval has a strange magic.

Ask any of the couples who have already chosen us to host their weddings - each is assured of the personal attention of landlady Kim and her dedicated staff team which includes her family. ‘Our part in making their day entirely special is something we feel keenly,’ says Kim. No wonder then that some have even travelled from the continent to plan their wedding with in Avalon.
